Best rooftop bars in Barcelona
Many of the luxury hotels in Barcelona have a stunning rooftop terras located on top of the building which in many cases has free access even when you are not staying at the hotel. It´s the perfect located to surprise your friends or partner or just to go up and enjoy the great views of Barcelona city. Drinks might be more expensive than in the average bar but it is well worth it. Below we have listed some of the rooftops with greatest views in town.
In the center, you will find the hotel Ohla. The Terraza Chill-Out, which you will find on the eighth floor is delightful. You have a beautiful view of the city and the terrace and swimming pool are stunning. There are also lounge sofas for when you are with a larger group.

If you’re not staying at the Grand Hotel Central, you can still hang out at its lovely rooftop Sky Bar from 1.30 pm til 9 pm. (Outside those times it’s exclusive to guests.) An infinity pool gives way seamlessly to epic views of Barcelona’s Gothic Old Town, with a smart lounge area just made for sundowners.
In a great central location, just a few streets from the Rambla, the pared-back, funky Terraza 360° has a swimming pool for a cooling dip. A DJ plays a sunset set on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from April to November, making this a hangout that’s not just for summer.
On the roof terrace of the Majestic hotel, you will find the bar “La Dolce Vitae”. A magnificent view, a variety of champagne and cocktails, but also tasty snacks that the Catalan chef Nandu Jubany (with 1 Michelin star) has picked out. Snacks such as salmon blinis with caviar and sour cream, an assortment of sushi, a sandwich with tenderloin, oysters and more. There are also DJs who take care of the music.
The rooftop terrace of this romantic boutique hotel overlooks the Port Vell waterfront, and, unusually, is open all year. The sixth-floor views of the port are incredible, making this the perfect after-dinner spot.
“Alaire” bar is located on the 8th floor of the Condes de Barcelona hotel. Trendy decorated, with views of the Sagrada Familia and on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evening in the summer there is a DJ. You can also order delicious dishes such as a Caprese salad, a wrap, a hamburger, but also tapas such as patatas bravas, nachos with guacamole, fried fish, ham croquettes and more.
This lovely and relaxing rooftop bar, called Panoramic Terrace, is located on top of the superb Colón Hotel Barcelona. Situated right opposite Barcelona Cathedral, the views you get over the majestic building are fantastic and complemented with great vistas over all of the Gothic quarter.
Set over two levels, the wooden decked open-air terrace is modern yet quite simple in decor, with mainly regular bar tables and stools. Grab one of the front row ones and you are set for a great view to enjoy for hours. Either in the afternoon sun or under a starlit sky towards the night.
From the rooftop bar, you can order fine and refreshing cocktails, a glass of sangria or a cold beer. Perfect to enjoy along with the relaxing vibe and listening to some of the live music acts often taking place up here.
The Panoramic Terrace at Hotel Colón is really a chill and great Barcelona rooftop bar, and it is open daily to all.
Perched on top of the Colón Building, the very first building in Barcelona to rise above 100 meters, you find a lovely cocktail and sangria bar called Marea Baja. The bar is an addition to the more famous sister restaurant Marea Alta, located next door.
While Marea Alta is a great fine-dining sky restaurant, it is mainly indoors, so for more laid-back and al-fresco vibes you should head to the Marea Baja rooftop bar.

Yurbban Trafalgar Hotel Barcelona has a roof terrace, called Rooftop by Lolea, which offers a stunning 360-degree view over Barcelona and the most famous buildings and monuments.
