Barcelona has a lot of really great shopping!
Portal del Angel
Carrer del Portal del Angel is probably the best-known pedestrian shopping street in Barcelona’s city center. It is home to many shops and boutiques selling items such as clothes, shoes, makeup and accessories. In this street you find shops of H&M, Zara, Pull&Bear, Footlocker and many more.
Las Arenas is a shopping center with over 100 shops, situated in a former bullring. It was built in the early 20th century and has been fully refurbished to make it into a modern shopping center. Some of its main attractions are Zara, H&M and Mango, but you can also find restaurants, bars and cafes where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the stunning views from its terrace. You can get there by metro (L1 stop “Espanya”) or bus (lines 9, 13, 23 and 27).
El Corte Ingles
It’s the biggest shop of Spain and is ideal if you’re looking to do some serious shopping. The store has a huge selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories, as well as jewelry to furniture and home goods. Here you find everything from fashion to technology. Also there is a very big supermarket where you can buy any food. It is well known by locals, the level of English of some of the Sales assistants might be limited. It is very central located at on Passeig de Gracia number 95. It is located at 1 minute from the shopping street Portal d´Angel
Maremagnum is a great place to stop by while in Barcelona. It’s located near the Port Vell and has a shopping and entertainment space. This shopping mall might not offer as many shops as another shopping mall but is located in a great location.
It is easy to get here by foot from the La Rambla or Barceloneta metro station (takes about five minutes).There are over 60 stores with a wide variety of clothing, footwear, and accessories for men, women, and children as well as for babies and home furnishings. There are also cafés and restaurants with a nice view over Port Vell Harbour.
L’illa Diagonal is a huge shopping mall in the heart of Barcelona, located at the intersection of Avinguda Diagonal and Carrer de Tanger. It is located within walking distance of Camp Nou, and it is the perfect excuse to explore when the men visit the football temple.
L’illa Diagonal has over 200 shops and restaurants, including many international luxury brands. You will find everything you need here. This shopping venue also houses a supermarket.
L’illa Diagonal is easily accessible by bus, metro and train.
La Roca Village
Last but not least! Roca Village is a designer outlet mall located about 35 minutes from Barcelona. It’s like a real village, with cobblestone streets, beautiful fountains and more than 100 designer shops. No place in Barcelona offers such big discounts as here. Roca Village is the perfect place to spend a whole day: it has plenty of restaurants and cafés for you to stop by when you need a break from shopping. There is a direct daily bus service that goes from Barcelona to La Roca Village and back several times a day.
